The Des Moines Police Officer's Recreation and Training Building is located at 5374 E. University, in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Our facility is owned and maintained by Des Moines police officers. No tax dollars are involved in it's administration and operation. The police building is one of central Iowa's premiere meeting and recreation facilities. It is available for rental and use by the public. Features include seating for over 210 persons, dance floor, a well-stocked bar, stage, and the capability to cater food to large gatherings.

Our officers are some of the best outdoor grill cooks going. We can grill your steak, burgers, or chicken to perfection and serve it up with all the extras! Our cooking facilities operate unobstructed by weather.
