Rotary Club Officer of the year
The Des Moines Police Department is proud to announce that the 2011 Rotary Club Officer of the year is 34-year veteran Scott Anderson.
Scott started with the Des Moines Police Department in 1977. He has served the department on patrol, narcotics, the tactical unit, School Resource Officer, and as a detective in both crimes against persons and crimes against property.
Scott is known for his ability to find stolen cars. But it is his attention to detail and persistency that move Anderson to the top.
Anderson’s aggressive police efforts are well respected on the police department, and emulate the character and professionalism of the Des Moines Police Department.
Congratulations to Officer Scott Anderson for being selected as the 2011 Des Moines Police Officer.
